oh what fun..

my mom's best friends son got into a serious car accident on saturday morning in edmonton... so they rushed to edmonton to be there.. for the next two weeks im at their place watching their dogs.. and for about 4months i will be there off and on to take care of the dogs.. plus side to this.. i get full use of her car for 4 months...

i will not complain!

kari's been staying with me during this dog sitting.. i think hes seeing what its like to live together.. this is what i think.. or the fact i drive his ass to work.. im gonna go with that one. ahah.. oh hes such a mooch.. i likes it!

works kinda boring today.. one can only clean for so long....

im thirsty... maybe a quick jaunt to robins for a beverage.. could be arranged.

christmas dinner and christmas party saturday.. gonna be a busy day thats for sure..

i should move the car back into my spot that jim stole earlier... freakin jim!

my grandma

my grandma is in the hospital...

the medication that her heart doctor told her to take to raise her heart pressure.. was actually lowering it...

her leg swelled up... a lot.

they're keeping her there until her heart rate is back up to normal....

i plan to visit her tomorrow at lunch.. because its the only time ill be able to see her.

my mom speculates my grandma wont be around for very long.. im hoping she'll hold out for another few years.. but i guess time will only tell....

I love that woman a lot.. and it makes me sad every time i think of her not being here.. :(

tonight i get a kari free night! YES! lol which means i get my whole bed to myself! awesome i know!

dont get me wrong i do enjoy his company.. but sometimes i girl needs her whole bed!!....

Im a little upset with my father.. for some odd reason my dad who i saw the day before my birthday has forgotten it was my birthday! i did not receive a phone call or even a text from him saying happy birthday. im not happy with him.. i sent him a text saying this too... cant believe someone would forget their own child's bday.. he was there the day i was born!!

tomorrow osap is taking the 557.. though i only have 520 in my account.. i had to dig into my car fund.. took out 350 because well.. i need a bus pass/food and 37 for osap.
im hoping it goes through.. if not i will need to borrow this from my mom..

my boss took the key to the bathroom.. so i had francis drive me to robins so i could pee..

im bored.. i wants work!

oh birthday

my dad offered to give me one of the three trucks he owns... im actually considering taking him up on this offer... the truck would be older.. but to get me to and from work safely without being killed would be a good thing...

guess next time i talk to him i shall mention that i will.. good thing is.. trucks are already safetied...

today is my birthday... i am 27.. yet i dont feel 27...
when my mom was this age she had 2 children already.. i have 0! though i do hope to have children by the time im 35... so i better get on that soon...

I have sent in a email complaint about the driver of the junot 9 bus who likes to drive past me...

like last week.. this week she did the same thing.. then claimed she didnt see me.. I was wearing a white coloured jacket! i was visible!

nothing seems to be going my way today.

first the bus driver decides to drive past me while i was standing at the bus stop.. ends up stopping up a ways after she realized she passed me... bitch. then she doesnt stop at copper cresent when the bus ding goes off.. i was so annoyed.

second i uploaded a file for work to these guys to print and its corrupted.. said file wont save on this piece of shit computer because its a Windows one and sucks ass.. so tonight i have to try and save said file again on my mac and make sure it can be opened.. then re-send again..

thirdly i had this cool design i was working on and i went to save said file.. then the computer crashes...

i think tomorrow im bringing thee mac to work.. im sick of windows!

i also have to go to the dentist.. lets hope nothing bad happens there...

the ex

so the ex and my so called best friend married a few weeks ago... so to be the better person i am i gave my congrats. Im happy she is happy i truely am.. after seeing how her last relationship went.. i am glad she found someone.. even if it is my ex...

after seeing their photos.. i have made Kari promise me that if we do ever get married that we never wear the same outfit or same coloured clothing and that it looks cheesy and ridiculous.

her dress was gorgeous.. my ex looked like the tool.. then again.. he is..

Im invited to their potluck gathering on the 26th.. i still have mixed feelings if i want to attend.. but if i dont then it makes me look bad.. so i will go with Kari. its gonna be awkward and weird but whatevs.. it should also be interesting considering new bf meets my tool of an ex.. Kari is far more better than Ryan ever was.

At least with Kari he doesnt tell me what i can and cant do. He also doesnt tell me how i should dress. He doesnt cry if i say i need some alone time, and he doesnt start mind games with me or guilt trip me into doing things....

Ive just been busy with the new job.. and getting my life on track which is always fun.

lots have happened in the past month, there was a wedding on july 1st, went camping last weekend.. which i enjoys so very much!

im really loving the new job.. i look forward to going there every day.. even though i do the same thing everyday but i like the fact i dont need to wear a uniform, or deal with customers.. and i get to wear old clothes!! thats a bonus! plus the pay is good :)

my room smells of lilacs.. and im loving it.

im tired of the heat.. though today its nicer out so i plan to wear the neon socks.

sometimes i wish i had a car so i can have more freedom. the bus is just not cutting it and i hate how it takes 30mins or more to get to a location.. one day i will have a vehicle.. it is what i am saving up for.

my savings account is 600 dollars so far.. thats the most i have saved up ever.. so im proud of myself :)

im debating if i should work another year at super store or quit in the next few months.. this is a tough decision.. as i miss having weekends!! well see...

im also a fan of ryein and linda.. those two crack me up :)

chris my over dramatic friend is in town i believe.. though i have yet to see him.. im kinda glad i havent.. he annoys me a lot.

colin has also annoyed me a lot.. mainly with his jealousy towards jeff.. he has such hatred towards jeff that everytime hed pick me up from work hed insult jeff.. just wait till he finds out im hanging out with kari..

i love my new job!! so much that in 2 months i may quit super store for good.

today i went to set up a design for a t-shirt.. and for the first time ever it lined up perfectly the first time!! pretty good for being there a month.. mark claims that my next month i will me a master and take over his job.. lol. silly mark.

well I got a new job back in april.. i enjoy it a lot.. i work in the screen printing department at sport top, and i work with a bunch of guys which is alright.. lol..

today someone was smoking pot in the handy cap bathroom at work.. they dont know who it was.. but they cant blame anyone because they dont have proof....

im also hoping they keep me at the new job.. only because then i can be able to finally pay off my student loan. :)

my dad said to me yesterday that i wasted my time going to college.. it actually pissed me right off.. i swear nothing i do ever makes that man happy... i bet the day i have children hell be disappointed in that too.. its like i have to live up to what my step sister does.. because everything she does is wonderful.. im sick of it.

ugh.. i also have a cold.. im blaming this on a few things, 1. working 2 weeks straight with no days off, 2. going to work on 2hrs of sleep, 3. stealing Tom's drink after he drank out of it.

best weekend ever?

i deem this the best weekend ever!

spent 3 days in a row with mitch. we went to the marina again to see if we could be creepy.. but no one was there to watch :( lol..

i really enjoy spending time with that kid.. i hope things further.. because i've been in a 3 1/2 yr hiatus!! i overall feel happy and more awesome than before.

going to easter dinner at my aunts with my dad today... should be interesting.. sometimes im not a fan of going to dinners on that side of the family only because all they do is judge... or favour one of my cousins... but the food is good, and my aunt is awesome.

the house is so very clean that i dont wants to mess it up.

today we tore out the carpet.. the hard wood under the carpet is pretty neat! im liking it.. which means i dont have to vacuum as much :D

yesterday at work at our works group huddle, we went to meet the acting managers for the day. (because ours were out on training) so they introduced themselves.. and then the one manager was like you look familar.. and i was like ok.. i dont know you nor have ive been to a winterpeg superstore.. so i was confused as to how he knew me.. then he asked what department i worked in.. so i told him.. then hes like do you know an ashley.. and i was like ya, which one because i know a few.. he said Lempiala.. and i was like ya i know her.. and hes like im her uncle, i seen pictures of you on her facebook.. i was forever creeped out lol.. it was funny and made my day.

Annoying Stuff

a friend of mine is annoying me a little.. said friend is being irrational about a few things.. mainly things that revolve around this guy that i have hung out with and chatted with a few times..who i met through her. long story short, she has said she is jealous of mine and this guys friendship and she wishes she had that... she also told me last night that she is very close to ending our friendship about this... well sorry that you made me add him to my phone so i can talk to him.. sorry that he talks to me! im not going to ignore him because you dont like it.

another thing thats annoying, this guy (matt) who i met during the summer, who is interested in me.. hes a nice guy and all, but he has some issues that he should take care of before starting a relationship.. im also not interested in him and have tried to make it clear.. but i guess he isnt picking up on it..

then theres this other guy Brent... hung out with him last month once at a friends bday party.. guy wanted to "hit it" with me but i was like nah, so he started texting me and everything.. at first it was alright.. then it got annoying because he was obsessing over sex and how much he wanted to have sex with me etc... it got old fast.. so i stopped talking to him.. figured he got the point and had finally left me alone.. the last week he messages me on fb, saying he wanted to hang out.. so i made excuses because im a chicken.. they worked.. so hes like ill message you sat night.. im like whatever.. so saturday night i hung out with the boys and the room mates and mandy.. was good times.. Brent messages me asking what im doing... i being drunk told Brent i was hitting Tom.. and Nick.. lol.. it may have worked.. hard to say.. he hasnt talked to me since then.. lol..

they wanted me to come in today and test my skills on the computer and my work ethic.. guess i impressed him and he was even more impressed when i had to work on a program that i never touched before and figured it out! though i has to remember how to use windows short cuts because it is a windows computer i will be working on. :P

this weekend was super awesome as well.. mandy's bday was fun, we had a prune cake in the bar, annoyed jeff.. was good times.

saturday me, aerlie and angela went to the Evening with the arts to check out the local talent, that was really cool and fun.

i also had Nick (this guy who i want to "hit", though i think i more or less have a crush on the guy) keep texting and he ended up calling me, to get me and aerlie to come to his the place he was at to party with him.. so i ended up going at 3am to party with the boys.. it was fun.. their pretty funny. i left at 5.. good thing my house wasnt to far from the place they were at.

friday were all going to see april wine.. nick says i need to experience sober nick before he gets drunk..

saturday i work, then im having a gathering which is my anti valentines day party.. lol.

It's a pretty dark room, clothes, and bed sheets are spewed across the floor, a young man is fast a sleep with his favourite stuffed white gorilla in his arms. A man dressed in all black is creeping slowly towards the bed.

MAN
Ahahaha.. this is gonna be sooo awesome!

The man, quickly grabs the stuffed gorilla, and leaves a note in place of the gorilla. He slowly walks out of the room.

INT. BEDROOM. DAY
The sun is creeping threw the bedroom window and onto the young mans face, squinting his eyes, he notices something is missing. He looks in his arms, Bill his favourite stuffed white gorilla is missing.

CORY
What the... where the hell is Bill!, I swear he was rigth here.. Bill?, Bill where are you?...

Cory is searching his whole room for Bill, throwing bed sheets and clothes more so around his room. There is no sign of Bill. Deciding that maybe Bill went for a walk, or maybe he thought he had Bill in bed with him but didnt and left Bill at school. Then he spots a piece of paper on his bed, he picks it up but doesn't read it, he throws it in his back pack.

CORY (CONT'D)
Hmmm what to wear, not the hot dog suit Ashley hates it and will be all pissy.. Ouu this will work.

Cory throws on his cowboy hate, his favourite Sam Roberts t-shirt, his blue jeans and his bush jacket. He takes one look over his room to see if he can spot Bill. Still no Bill. Cory heads out the door and runs to catch the bus.

INT. MULTIMEDIA LABS
Cory enters the multimedia labs looking in every corner and behind computers looking for Bill. No sign of Bill at all, Cory spots Adam.

CORY
Hey Adam, have you seen Bill around the labs at all? I think I may have left him here yesterday, because he's not at home.

ADAM
Nah man, haven't seen him, did you check everywhere?

CORY
Yea I did, and hes no where to be found, all I found was this peice of paper
Cory digs into his back pack and pulls out the peice of paper, and opens it, he hands it to Adam. Adam reads the paper.

ADAM
"Dear Cory, if you ever want to see Bill again, you have to give me Ashley alive, meet me in the court yard at 5pm today with Ashley in hand." Dude thats creepy, are you gonna do it?

CORY
Well first Ashley isn't going to come with me if I tell her too, and second, its a lie.

ADAM
I don't think its a lie, this is real. I can help you find Bill, Im good at this stuff, you know I have my own detective office here in the labs.

CORY
I didn't know that...

Cory accepts Adam's help. Adam scoots over to a computer and Cory follows, Adam shows Cory on the computer how their going to find Bill, Cory nods with excitement because he's going to find Bill.

INT. STUDENT LOUNGE
Cory and Adam, and handing out papers to the variety of students who walk by. On these papers there is a picture of Bill, stating he is missing and a contact number if one finds him.

CORY
I don't think this is working Adam, people are looking at us, like I'm crazy.

ADAM
Who cares what they think, this is your best friend missing, I'm sure if this happened to them they'd be doing the same thing.

CORY
Yea, but their best friend isn't a stuffed gorilla.
After handing out all the papers. Adam has a idea.

ADAM
Maybe the janitor found Bill in the labs and threw him into the garbage?.

CORY
That sounds like a stupid reason, but you might be right.. lets go check out the dumpster!

Cory and Adam, head outside to the dumpster.

EXT. DUMPSTER
Cory and Adam are standing outside this big green bin.

ADAM
I'm not going in there, it's your gorilla, you go in.

CORY

Cory hops into the dumpster, its full of ripped garbage bags, and the smell is just horrible.

CORY (CONT'D)
Oh god, it smells bad, I think I'm gonna barf... I dont think Bill is in here.

ADAM
Just look, hes gotta be in there...

Cory digs around, he cant see Bill any where, plus hes getting covered in food that people didn't finish yesterday night. Cory hops out of the dumpster covered in food. Adam has a look of disgust on his face.

CORY
Last time I ever do this!

INT. MULTIMEDIA LABS
Cory and Adam are back in the labs. Cory is sulking at the computer talking to Ashley via facebook chat, telling her of his what happened. Adam is playing tetris on the computer, he gets up and leaves the labs. The clock up ahead says 4:30pm. Cory turns his attention to Adam as he leaves the room.

CORY
Why is he in such a hurry?

Cory looks up and notices its almost 5, he decides hes going to go to the court yard and figures if he can he'll beat the guy up with a stick and save Bill. Cory signs off of facebook and heads out the door.

EXT. COURT YARD
Leaves are falling off the trees. Its windy outside. Cory is standing by himself in the middle of the court yard, hes still covered in food, he has a stick in one hand. He takes a look at his watch is 5:00.

CORY
I hope this guy shows up..

Cory spots something in the corner of his eye, he looks over he sees Adam.

CORY (CONT'D)
Adam.. What are you doing here? Im confused..

ADAM
Oh you know why I'm here..

CORY
No, I don't know why your here, please refresh my memory..

ADAM
Well, lately you've been pretty rude to me, deleting me off of Facebook, ignoring me to hang out with the girls.. All around you've been an ass.. So, I took something of yours.

CORY
YOU DIDN'T!

Adam pulls Bill from behind his back and holds him up.

ADAM
Yea, thats right, I took Bill!

Adam reaches into his pocket and grabs a lighter, he takes the lighter and flicks it, a flame starts. He takes this flame to Bill. Bill is on fire.

CORY
NOOOOOO Bill... Adam you bitch!

Cory lunges for Adam. Their on the ground, Cory has tears from his eyes, Adam has a evil grin on his face. Bill is up in flames, slowly turning into ashes.

CORY (CONT'D)
I can't believe you just did that, I'm gonna kill you!

ADAM
Lies.. All lies, you couldn't hurt a fly even if you tired.

Cory reaches into his pocket and pulls out a pencil, he takes this pencil and jabs it into Adams chest. Adam stops moving, blood is pouring out of his chest. Cory has killed Adam.

CORY
Ah crap.

Cory takes Adam's body and covers it with the fallen leaves. He takes a look over where Bill's burnt corpse is, he kneels down. A tear is slowly falling down his check, it lands in the pile of ashes. Bill is gone, Cory is upset, he gets up, and walks back to the labs.

sick people..

Aerlie woke up this morning with the stomach flu... so shes been sleeping on and off..

i came home after work, she was upstairs.. she came down for a bit, i tried talking to her but shed give me a glare.. so i pretty much left her alone... we did watch some jersey shore when i came back from hanging out with tyley and adam.. sick people annoy me.. i even annoy myself when im sick..

but on other events.. i has a day off tomorrow... im debating if i should just have an x files marathon all day... and see how many episodes i can watch lol.. should be interesting... lol.... if i do it.. or i can work on that calendar ive been pushing off for years.. lol

ya i think the calendar will be a better idea.

anyways i should head to bed..

the floral shop is now produce, leisure still gets the garden centre, which is good only because i get a shit tonne of hours in the summer... maybe ill get to be in on the hiring of new staff this year!! ill pull some strings.

been working a lot lately... im helping out in the OTC department putting out baby diapers and stuff... i enjoy it.. except the weird hours she has me doing.. like 1130-8.. weird! oh well.. i do get tomorrow off so i wont complain :D

Beer Soup

Heres the recipe for the beer soup

1/2 cup of butter (salted or unsalted. i use salted)
1 leek cleaned and thinly sliced
1 Carrot peeled and cut
1 stalk of celery
salt and pepper
1/2 all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon of dried mustard
4 cups of chicken broth
1 bottle of newcastle beer
2 cups of sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cups of parmesan
1 pinch of cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon worcestershire
2 table spoons of parsley

(i usually cut up 2 cups of carrots, leeks and celery, just to have more veggies in the soup... you can also add potatoes if you like, i usually add one)

in a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. add leek, carrot, and celery and saute until softened, about 10 mins. season with salt and pepper

stir in flour and dried mustard until incorporated and cook for about 1 minute. add the stock and ale and bring to a simmer over high heat. reduce heat to medium and cook, whisking to break up any lumps of flour, until mixture is slightly thickened, about 5 mintues. add the cheese and whisk constantly until nicely melted, 3-5 mins longer. do not let boil. stir in the cayenne and worcestershire sauce, taste and adjust the seasoning.

i had my job developer meeting today, we discussed what i was looking for and what to do when i apply for jobs... so i pretty much apply for jobs and then tell her where i applied and she follows up on it.

im hoping something comes my way.. i need a job... or even a second one...

i also talked to my boss today, she said she was gonna speak with the manager about getting me to help in other departments.. but im going to talk to the manager tomorrow about it, just incase she forgot, because she does do that... its just i can not live off of 16hrs a week..

took the dog for a walk today, it was only for 20mins.. but it was cold..

i think i may go to the library after work tomorrow.... i wants to get me a book

not much else is happening..

A part of me really wants to have kids, actually cant wait till i have some...

until im at a gathering where a lot of kids are located, then my mind changes.... im not a fan of changing diapers, and the drool...

on other news.. so far on the not being lazy and walk more resolution.. so far so good.. i took a walk on sunday, and one today.. monday i was out and about with friends.. tomorrow i plan to walk to after my meeting with the job developer at the college.

my walk plan is to walk down van norman, then back up tupper.. both are hills, and i used to walk up a hill on my hour walks in toronto.. im gonna time it too.. i may plan to do an hour walk a day.. but probably 30mins in the winter for as its a little cooler.
