2011

2011 is the year of no fear.. the year where i have fun and be awesome all to myself. this is the year i hope some new changes come.. i also plan to stay positive! even if i have to pay my 50,000 student loan come may...

going to a gathering tonight with the roomies.. this will be my first new years where i do spend it with my grams..

i made a taco dip.. i made two. a big one and a small one.. the big one stays here so i can eat it.

so i has a cold.. which sucks... i have also lost weight during the holidays instead of gaining..but thats because of being sick.. im also itchy because of the orange i ate the other day.

i spent one of my 100 dollars at old navy today, bought 3 pants and 2 shirts.. now im not sure what to spend my other 100 on.... maybe a tripod or doctor who season 5.. or new black hoodie.. not sure just yet.. i dont think i need any more clothing for as i has lots.. i went through some of my clothes and got rid of what i dont wear..

i have the dog for a few days.. :D

also on the 24th me and jeff had to bring in the room mates cat to be put down.. she was 16yrs old and was dying.. so aerlie is a crying mess right now.. and will be for a while.. :(

its been a while..

I has a sexy new resume!, tuesday i went in to the job place and they helped me create a better resume... i hope this resume helps me get a job.. im very excited about it.. :D

so tuesday night we went to moxies to celebrate ryan's bday that day..
came home and went to bed.

4am wednesday morning i woke up and went pee, went back to bed.. while i was trying to get back to sleep my stomach was acting up.. i thought i had indigestion from what i ate the night before.. so i took some peto-bismal in hopes it will work.. went back upstairs to bed... then all of a sudden i had the urge to puke.. i ran down stairs and i did.. so then i decided to stay downstairs after that just incase... then i puked again... so i tried to keep hydrated by drinking some water... few hours later i threw that up.. mom gives me ginger ale... i end up throwing that up as well..

so yesterday kinda sucked for as i was sick.. i had eaten a thing all day in fears that i would throw up..

today i feel much better.. im eating an apple slowly just incase.. i believe i may still have a fever...

its also pay day today... depending how i feel i may go to superstore to do some christmas shopping

so its freezing outside.... so cold out that the windows has frost on them.. which means the windows suck and we need that plastic stuff on them...

in other news i has an appointment with a career counselor on wednesday.. im hoping this helps me find a full time job.. or even better yet a job in my field... as much as i like superstore... its just not giving me the hours that i need.. and i really hate living off of pay check to pay check.. i want to be able to save some money towards a car or even better yet move out of town..

anyways i should get dressed..i has to work at 3...

3 days to party!

so the ugly sweater party is getting close! im excited to wear the ugly sweater i found at halloween.. im also excited to decorate for christmas.. i dont do it often because we dont do it at my moms place, or my grams.. and im not allowed to do it at work anymore :(.. so this is exciting!

were not doing a real tree because i dont feel like carrying a tree down the road to dispose of it at grandview lol..

my bday is also 4 days away! this is exciting..

its also snowing like man outside...

i has to work tonight at 10pm.. my only midnight shift this week.. renos should be done next week hopefully..

i have also decided that even though i really want to live out east, at this point if i find a job anywhere ill go there... i figure i should try winterpeg as well.. at least ill only be 8hrs away from home.. and theres 711.. :D

i also have a few photo ideas i wants to do.. one is with christmas lights, another has to do with a creepy back lane buts not as creepy as before but i can make it creepy!

me and aerlie also think jeffs dad should be our room mate.. hes awesome!

jeff and his dad discovered that it wasnt the dryer thats not working but the outlet that the electrician created that doesnt work for the dryer.. so we have two working dryers in the house.. guess we will be getting rid of one.

my arm hurts slightly from my fall over a week ago...

my left leg hurts, even though i went to see the doc, everything is fine, or else he would have called me... guess ill just have to suck it up.. if it bothers me more then i guess its off to the hospital...

today i unloaded a truck of christmas trees.. with the help of the guys from the reno team.. they didnt need to help me and my boss, but they did! they were awesome.. more reasons to like them!

i get to work a lovely midnight tomorrow.. should be interesting.... im starting to like working days again.. lol

bday party saturday.. cant wait..

i also need to steal tree branches from trees.. guess ill be visiting the bush sometime soon.

crafty!

ive decided in the new year i gotta be more crafty.. i have a few ideas of things i want to do, like one, get some whine glasses and bling them out with gems.. and paints..

another is making the calendar with my own photos and with card stock paper.

its also snowing/raining and its making it all slushy.. and i hate when it gets slushy..

the search for the mint hot chocolate has had no success.. i is sad :(

i have all my christmas decorations... just have to wait till the 27th for the party to decorate.. i cant wait.. gonna be awesome!!!

i also came to the conclusion that i am very obsessed with tree scented candles.. considering 11 candles of the scent...

im making hamburger soup today.. it smells sooo good.. i love making soups. i also like feeding my friends with said soups because they all seem to love them... they also like my taco dip which will be made at the ugly sweater party saturday..

my bday is a week away.. ill be 26.. which means ill be 4 yrs away from being 30 and 2 from my shampange bday....

a few weeks ago when i went to the doctors the secretary lady said i needed a new health card...

i guess i should go do that..soon.... i will miss that red and white card that i have had since birth...

i have also offically lost 9lbs since September.. this is exciting news.. especially when you can wear your old bra in your old bra size lol... not so awesome part, when the pants you bought last year are loose

jeff has creepy friends.

so im in the bathroom going pee.. i hear a knock on the door.. thinking it was jeff's dad because he usually knocks before coming in.. anyways i rush out of the bathroom to answer the door to some guy i never met before..

first he asks if im jeff's girlfriend. i inform him im not and just jeff's room mate.. he then tells me his name is jeremy and asks if jeff was in and when he went to work and when he should be done.. i on the other hand have no idea when jeff leaves for work or comes home because im usually at work or sleeping.. i told him i work midnights and sleep during the day and dont know where he is... so ya he then leaves...

ive been told this guy is creepy and actually watches people sleep and has been known to walk into peoples houses without permission.. i believe i may need to have my hunting knife by the bed just incase....

ive had the dog here for the past few days, i enjoy her company.. she goes back tomorrow..

sunday morning at 2am i fell down the stairs.. ya me! i has a bruise on my arm and my back is slightly sore from the fall but im still alive...

work has a few more weeks left.. im a bit excited to get off midnights.. as much as i love them, i do miss having my evening/nights free...

my mini vacation of of town was very awesome... its always good to get away.. mainly i just needed to get away from work drama...

went to red lobster for the first time ever and dared john to wear the lobster hat into the store.. i couldnt stop laughing.. i almost peed myself..



we went shopping at miller hill mall before the red lobster experience.. i spent 79 dollars at bath and body works.. i really like that place.. i ended up with two tree scented candles that were on sale for 2 for 30, and then i bought 3 body sprays and got 3 free.. which id say is a good deal..

we went to target and i saw a raindeer outfit for cats.. so i had to get it..

TP will plan my murder one day...

i also found on on friday night, that my dad was in the hospital and family memebers did not inform me... i was really pissed off.. he spent 7 days in ICU because he had severe phenomia... im gonna bring this up at christmas time to family, because i have a feeling if he were to pass away i wouldnt know about it.. and im very annoyed at my dads side of the family.. it really upsets me.. ya my dad can be a pain in the ass, but the man helped create me, and i do love the hell out of him....

so my biological clock has been ticking for some time now..

i would love to have children, but theres two reason why its stopping me..

1. i financially cant afford to take care of a child.
2. i dont have a man.

i really wants to have children by the time im 35, im 9 yrs away... i have 9 yrs to hopefully find someone..

And I has work tonight... For some odd reason... I work tues-sat.. Which I can't work Saturday nights due to having to take the bus Sunday morning... Buses don't run till after 8am... So ya....

i leave for my long awaited trip to the other side of the country.... i cant wait to get out for a little bit.. we leave today around 11am.. and arrive in vancouver 330pm their time... should be fun.

i got a net stick to connect to the net with, but because of a service problem because of a train in two harbours it will not work for a while.. gonna give it a try in vancouver.. doesnt work then ill give good ol tbaytel a call :D

i started midnights yesterday, i was quite shocked that i didnt sleep or get overly tired.. their was a few their that looked like death.. lol.. tonight i believe we start moving some stuff over.. so at least we wont be very bored.

so far the city buses havent gone on strike so thats good.

time flies...

so the last few weeks have sucked.

went back to my second ultrasound aug 20th, found out my little friend was still there, was sent home and told to contact my family doctor... saw my family doctor that following monday, he told me to stop taking my ibuprofens and gave me a prescription for low dose asprins... that day i also went back for another ultrasound because my doc wanted to see it.. was almost sent back to emerg by the ultrasound tech.. told her i wasnt going back because the emerg docs wont do anything....

and i didnt like my week off work, sucked balls, and my pay check tomorrow is gonna suck because of it.. reason why i wish they gave sick pay to part timers!

this past week my leg actually feels 100% better.. i believe my little friend is gone, hopefully i find out this friday, if i can get into see the ultrasound peps.. im really hoping its gone because i dont want to cancel my trip because of it.. stupid clot!

soon the store starts renos and i said id help with it, gives me 37 hrs a week.. i wont complain.. i need the moneys.

tomorrow will be one month till my vacation.. i need it.. big time.. :D

i also wish their was better jobs in this city.. my next plan after my vacation, im gonna put money away to move out of town. my goal is to move to halifax next fall.. hopefully..

stupid leg.... and fish

not last weekend but the weekend before that i went fishing with colin, we caught a lot of fish that weekend, i had so much fun that i didnt want to leave. but i had to go back to work.

work was ok, been working lots

last weekend i went camping over night, with cory and crystal koski and their friend matt. we went to cory's friends place and i had a lot of fun, met some new people, and just enjoyed myself. the koski's are a hoot. it was good spending time with them.

went to the cle and ran into cory and crystal.. oh and ian as well, also saw ashley with her bf.. their too cute together... he better treat her good or ill be kickin his butt!

friday i woke up with pain in my leg, it lasted all weekend, and i got annoyed so today i went to the walk in clinic, then he sent me to the emergency because he suspected a blood clot.. 4 hrs later and a trip to the ultrasound place, we find out i have a tiny blood clot below my knee.. hes not that concerned yet, so ive been ordered not to work for a week, and take it easy, walk on occasion and take ibprofen.. i go back friday for another ultrasound to make sure my little friend hasnt moved or gotten bigger.. lets just say im not havin fun at all!

not much else.. just chillin at the house.. i must leave and walk to the bathroom.

I saw these shoes at payless today when walking around the mall with the room mate.. i wants them.. now, but i has to wait till tomorrow when i gets paid.. then their mine.

which reminds me this morning at 4am i had to pee, went pee, went upstairs.. came back down stairs asked jeff if he was asleep, then told him i was worried that aerlies dream of the kitchen going on fire was true, and then told him to do his dishes.. drank some water and went upstairs to bed.

wen to the dermatologist, was given a new prescription for my arm itch... he also told me to not work in plants, but thats kinda hard when its part of your job.... so ya.

work is soooooooo boring.. i do nothing but read archie comics and sit around.. boring!

i was forced by my grams to get my passport done, because in october on our trip to b.c we may go to the states i was told..

ill be going to b.c from oct 2-16.. im very excited..

im also gonna look for jobs during that time as well.. no harm in giving it a try. maybe something will come up..

we went to go see inception last night and it was sold out and we were pissed.. so we bought tickets for tonights show, and we plan to get there early for seats.

So last night went to the union meeting and i will say we are not going on strike...

im 160hrs away from getting paid 11.15.. i figure ill reach that amount by novemberish.

i also get a 400 signing bonus in 3 weeks...

and yea.. so thats cool. the 400 dollars i will be saving for my trip to b.c with my grams

so the .65 cents added to my hourly pay was infact my raise... this is the first raise ever that i have recieved, and im pretty damn excited about it!

and with the new contract coming up, i may even get more.. we shall see :D

the moth...

i cant seem to find it, after searching the window for a good 15 mins and moving all the window slides.. no sign of a moth.. maybe i killed said moth that day i killed on in my room.. or it got out somehow..... either way its not in my window..

the wasp in the other window has disappeared again, i think it lives in the wall, which is probably not a good thing.....if i see it next im gonna kill it for sure.

work finally got a contract, go to the valhalla on july 25 to see what its about and vote it i like it or not, gonna read it good.

also today i found my last pay check in my purse and took a look at it, and noticed i was getting paid 10.90 instead of 10.25.... so i gonna see if everyone is getting paid 10.90.. or if i finally worked so many hours that i finally got a raise.. im hoping its a raise, because i've been waiting for one forever lol.

Camping Adventure...

This weekend I went camping with a bunch of friends and my one room mate aerlie.

we went camping up at kab lake, its near armstrong.. it was a very nice place.

myself, john and aerlie got there before everyone and decided to pitch our tents in the wind.. that was fun...

then everyone else came, they all set up their tents..

went swimming... that was fun and good to get cooled off..

the people who were camping up the hill decided to play music till 530am, which sucked for some because most of us didnt get a good sleep.. i on the other hand slept like a rock which i always do, except when my bladder decided it was time to pee...

saturday, myself, john and aerlie and the dog went to armstrong for supplies aka cheese, chocolate, and cheese cake.. lol yea cheese cake. which we ate later

that night we had a good thunder storm heading our way, the clouds were very low to the ground and the lighting was flashing very often.. so we all decided it was time to pack up and leave.. i swear we all packed up in 15mins we were quick.

not much else.. took a 45min walk today, gonna push myself to do this every day.. need to loose this extra poundage that i have gained in the past few years.. time for it to go!

This heat and my eczema are just not friends, my arm itch its just itchy and now im getting it on my face.. im not sure if its my lip balm that never gave me problems is now giving me problems.. or its my sweat.. its very annoying... i wish i was seeing the dermatologist now and not at the end of the month.

at work today myself and charolette came across a baby seagull that couldnt fly.. then we later found out he fell off the roof, we kinda rounded him up into the garden centre where a customer helped us catch and put him in a box.. we then called animal services and took him.. were hoping they didn't kill him, but then again seagulls are protected, so they may not have..

going camping this weekend, i is very excited :D

so this weekend was a busy one.

saturday i worked, after work myself and john took my dog for a walk around boulevard.. good one hour walk i say! aspen was tired..

had a bbq at Gibbs place.

came home and harassed Jeff as he was leveling out the yard and placing grass seed in the bare spot.

got ready to go to a shag, went to the shag, had fun at the shag, ended up at on deck, then came home and went to bed at 2am-ish.. yup i was up late

today i visited my grams, and went for a walk to A&P for some goodies, i also watched a movie on terry fox...

did some laundry, and made some ginger cookies.. now i shall take a shower and slowly head to bed.

so i went to see get him to the greek with aerlie and mandy... very funny movie.. i snorted a lot.. lol.

after the movie myself and aerlie were waiting for mandy to get out from the bathroom and who do i see.... my friend jessica and my ex (who shes dating now) come out from the same movie as i am. she comes over to say hi which is cool.. then he comes over and says "hi guys" and im like "dont talk to me" then jessica hugged me and said i love you.

i really not fond of my ex, he has annoyed me a lot when we dated and since this whole him dating my friend thing. hes lucky i didnt make him cry tonight.. oh hes lucky.

incase your wondering why i dont like him, its because he was the clingy controling boyfriend, and i dumped him because of it.. i had enough of him.. and i was enjoying the whole not having to see or hear about him for a while until he decides its alright to date my once best friend. (were not best friends anymore because she got demoted)

ugh i hates drama.

on other news i bought sunscreen and wore it today. :)
i also made my mom get me donuts and gibs to pick me up after work. today was good :D

so i heard that the talks with the company and the union didnt go so well... now im waiting for when we meet again to vote for a strike.. i think its gonna be soon.. or whenever the union decides to set the time up.

this weekend was good work, bought a new dvd player and saved 13.57.. thanks to my discount and being no tax day.

hung out with colin on sunday, we were gonna go fishing but lake superior was not our friend so we just chilled with his parents.. his mom made us some fried fish.. so at least i got some fish out of it :D

friday hung out with aerlie, jeff and mandy.. we went to on deck to watch ufc with jeff because apparently he cant go alone lol.

so today was my day off, i spent it cleaning the house, taking pics with ashley and cooking.
myself and ashley walked around for a good two hours taking pics, we got our exercise.. we also saw a falcon attack, and kill, a bird.... it was quite interesting too bad neither of us had our cameras out.
made the best soup ever today.. it was cheese and beer soup, it tasted soooo goods we all loved it.

as some may have heard super store (my work place) had a strike mandate vote today... it was quite interesting, a few yelling matches went on, and i heard what the union wants to try and get from the store for us..

should be interesting.. guess we'll find out if we voted for the strike or not...

i kinda dont want a strike only because that means i have to stand outside with picket and be sorta awesome.. and get yelled at like the safeways workers did years back...

other than that weekend was good, had fun at benny birches, and jeff's party.. i stayed up till 2am.. i know im bad!

also found out the washer doesnt work ... so i had to go to gibbs place to do my laundry because well i dont want to be the stinking kid in the house.. ahah

Today is graduation day.

After today I will have two diplomas.. as I joke around.... I'll be getting my PHD in Media Arts.. I've been in school for a total of 7yrs..

i was a helpful little one today

so i helped out a lot of customers today which made me feel good.. most days i hate the customers but today they just seemed more pleasent that normal.

graduation is this friday :) and im hoping my dad isnt working this weekend to help us move, only because everyone else i know either bails out on me, or has something come up. and we want to move this weekend not next this weekend!...

i watched the ghostbusters today, i love that movie.. one of my favs.. it makes me laugh every time.
